Hi, I find your show really helpful -have listened to the one on forgiveness many times. My question is, what to do, when you keep finding out new hurtful stuff? You deal with one thing and then more things keep coming to light. My husband left, out of the blue for another woman -we were still very much together when this woman pursued him. I am still struggling with this, 5 months on. She has announced on social media that they ‘are in a relationship’ -that hurts so much. A colleague wants to talk to me, I suspect my husband had an emotional affair with her and she wants to clear it up with me? When will all this hurting stop/!!

The most vital aspect of this situation is to forgive yourself. By this I mean to allow yourself to be free from the hurt each event triggers. Self compassion is cruicial. Hope over time will heal the hurt.
