Thank you so much for your great podcasts. This one really hit home for me because recently I’ve been finding that I’m uncomfortable with the way my ex-husband has been communicating with me.

Our divorce is very recent (separated since October, divorced in March). While I’ve taken on a “neutral” stance in terms of communication pretty much from the very beginning he continues to communicate in ways that he would have when we were married. He always tries to take our communications to a personal level and makes remarks that I feel inappropriate. I really feel like he still hasn’t cut the ties of our relationship though he is the one who got involved in an emotional affair.

Your advice to David to maintain his neutral, business-like communication and that his ex-wife would (hopefully) get the picture after a while was what I needed.
